The Barbell Life Podcast is back along with Mash Elite Performance. Weekly you can expect podcasts, videos, and articles. I grew this company giving away free information to athletes, coaches, and anyone else that wanted to learn. Years ago, Louie Simmons and Elite FTS taught me to give away information, and to pass on all that I was learning in an effort to make the next generation better than the last.
Going back to school in 2020 slowed me down a bit, but I have my rhythm back now. The topic that I aimed to cover this week is:
⇒ “The Transfer of Training for Muscular Contractions”
Concentric contractions are the shortening of muscles. Eccentric contractions involve the lengthening of muscles. Finally, Isometric contractions involve force production without a change in muscle length. Each form of muscular contraction will lead to various adaptations.
